PD TRAININGS interview artifacts
Below, you will find professional development trainings that I created for interviews that I had. I was not successful in getting these job, but I wanted to share my designs to inspire other ideas and products. Please note that these products were designed by me ONLY for my interviews and may not at all represent the company's current practices. I used the company's logos to create my initial interview products, but to share publicly, I replaced these with my website's logo: Sage Learning. The PowerPoint(SlideDeck) presentation templates were original designs of mine when I served as a school-based and district-based coach.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING CREATED FOR
SAGA EDUCATION ACADEMICS TRAINING MANAGER JOB INTERVIEW
The artifacts below were created for a Saga job interview. I was tasked with creating a PD to train Saga Fellows and provide ongoing support. It took me a day to create these products. These products reflect the passion I have for creating meaningful professional development trainings and for follow-up implementation support.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING CREATED FOR
TNTP TEACHER EFFECTIVENESS COACH JOB INTERVIEW
TNTP TEACHER EFFECTIVENESS COACH JOB INTERVIEW
I created this collaborative professional development on Addressing Learning Loss (self-created title) for a TNTP Teacher Effectiveness Coach job interview. In addition to this PD, I created a presentation feedback template (to document feedback provided by colleagues for improving the product), unit design documents for teachers to use when they collaborate and a Jamboard slide for participants to share their thoughts. These products were created over a span of two days during which I spent extensive time engaging in self reflection and self-generated feedback to produce the final product.
The resources used to create this PD are shared with the public on TEA's and TNTP's websites. However, if there was an oversight on my part and I shared information that is not accessible to the public, please email me at [email protected] and I will remove it. |

CREATED FOR NATIONAL MATH AND SCIENCE STEM MANAGER JOB INTERVIEW
CREATED FOR NATIONAL MATH AND SCIENCE STEM MANAGER JOB INTERVIEW
This 3-Day Algebra 1 training was created for a STEM Manager Algebra 1 position that I applied to. Please note that this document was created for the sole purpose of this interview and strategies reflected here are not those of the organization. The ideas outlined here are ideas I generated based on the task that was shared with me. To maintain confidentiality, the task has not been shared within my creation. Please contact NMSI if you would like to learn more about their services.
The 3-Day Algebra 1 training document outlines ideas and steps for training development. It focuses on meaningful engagement and collaboration and using and honoring the experiences the adult learner brings. Oftentimes, when we create training, it is difficult to visualize when and how to get participants engaged in the learning. This was a great strategic task to gain applicants' thought processes and ideas in creating effective training! This was one of the most professional interviews I have had in terms of communication and follow-up before the final decision was made. I wish the successful applicant and NMSI all the best as they impact education and focus on equity. |
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
CREATED FOR LEADING EDUCATORS DIRECTOR OF CONTENT AND COACHING JOB INTERVIEW
CREATED FOR LEADING EDUCATORS DIRECTOR OF CONTENT AND COACHING JOB INTERVIEW
I created this professional development training, titled, Instructional Stretches to reinforce specific strategies addressed in the coaching debrief document below, that was written to a leader. Please note that these are my creations based on the task provided, and the strategies reflected here are not those of the organization. Please contact Leading Educators if you are interested in partnering with them and learning about their strategies. In addition, the logos used to create this presentation and debrief document were retrieved from the internet for the sole purpose of this task and have not been used in any of my other creations.
In my first official appointment as a coach, I was asked to use the terms "glows" and "grows", but teachers found them to be evaluative. So, in this training and feedback document I chose to share the terminologies of "strengths" and "stretches" to inspire educators to use their strengths, and stretch their learning to reach their fullest potential. I wish the successful applicant and Leading Educators all the best as they impact education and continue to focus on disrupting inequity. |
