MAVMathics Digest
I created and used the name MAVmathics Digest for the newsletters at Mendez Middle School because our mascot was the Maverick and I also wanted the newsletters to be connected to Readers Digest thus the use of the words MAV and Digest in the title. MAVmathics Digest was the first set of newsletters I created during my first official assignment as an instructional coach at Mendez Middle School.

FULMORE MATH FACTOR
The name Fulmore Math Factor was created to include the official name of the school and factor from the math concept factors. In additon, factor is defined as "a circumstance, fact, or influence that contributes to a result or outcome" and the creations of these newsletters was aimed to have profound impact, result and outcome.

SCI-TECH MATH RAVE
At Sci-Tech Middle School our mascot was the raven, so I wanted to incorporate a part of the name in the newsletter and RAVE was a perfect word to use to rave about the work of our teachers and students and include the part of raven. Soon after this newsletter was published, a district was inspired to name one of their programs RAVE.

HOUSTON EAGLES MATH FLIGHT
The name Houston Eagles Math Flight relates to our mascot, the eagle. The flight in the name of this newsletter was intentional as I wanted teachers and students to take flight in Math by focusing on literacy, blended learning and representing learning or any other new strategy that was implemented.

DISTRICT MATH COACH
During my time at Jubilee Academies, I served as a District Math Coach for the Central and South Central Regions. I provided coaching support for 27 teachers and collaborated with admin and other school personnel to impact teaching and learning. Since this was my first time serving as a district coach, I wanted my newsletters to also capture the great work of the schools that I served, and very importantly the work of our teachers and students. I have also included information on strategies that I supported/spearheaded. As a district coach, I loved highlighting and implementing our district's resources while simultaneously personalizing coaching to meet the needs of our teachers and students.
I have provided access to these newsletters with non-accessible links to any personal district related information.
