Please feel free to use the guiding questions to the right to help you with your planning! |
While pursuing an Instructional Coaching Graduate Certificate in January 2015, I created the below questions to guide my planning
QUESTIONS THAT WILL GUIDE MY PLANNING What connections and enduring learning experiences that will invoke continued curiosity and inquiry would I communicate to my students? *What real world connections will I make? *How will I integrate other content areas? *How will I invoke continued inquiry and curiosity? How will I focus on learning? *How will I create instructional plans and objectives to include learning activities that engage students and allow for them to collaborate meaningfully as well as establish a more student-focused setting? *How will I attend to and increase the intrinsic motivation in my students and connect learning to their experiences? *How will I integrate inquiry, investigation, critical thinking and creativity in my lessons? How will I meet the needs of all levels of learners in my classroom? What evidence will I require to reflect my students learning? *What methods will I use to determine my student thought process and synthesis of knowledge within a lesson, unit or variety of units? *How will I stress the need for creativity and critical thinking in their learning representations? *How will I inspire learners to extend their knowledge beyond the lesson and represent this as an artifact of learning? ~ Cherry-Anne Gildharry |
